What a desolate — but gorgeous — location for a monastery!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous tumble of a ruin, Benikos. Samos is a most beautiful island!
ReplyDeleteYou really capture the human fingerprint set in the midst of natural wilderness and beauty. A good place to contemplate things greater than humanity.
ReplyDeleteSuch a rustic, beautiful landscape.
ReplyDeleteI love how those beautiful flowers are growing out of the stones of the ruins!
ReplyDeleteWithout disparaging the rest of the picture, which is simply wonderful, the few colorful flowers on the old wall deserved a post on their own!
ReplyDeleteGreat angle to take in the view!
ReplyDeleteI love monasteries. Can you go in to visit?
ReplyDelete@ Dina
ReplyDeleteYes Dina you can visit any monastery ecxept ATHOS , there are other rules...
