Samiopoula island, the litle Samos

IMG_0025

General information
Samiopoula is a small island near the south coast of Samos. It can be visited by boat from Pythagorion daily, the voyage from Pythagorio to Samiopoula takes about one hour with a small boat. The beach on Samiopoula is one of the best beaches you will find on Samos, fine sand and crystal clear water.

Unfortunately many tour operators has included a stop at this beach on their boat trips, so it's not quite as idyllic as it could be. There is a small tavern on the island but make sure to bring water, food and all suntan lotion etc you need.
The beach consists of very fine sand, free umbrellas are available on the beach but no sunbeds.

  2. The shoreline is still big, so I'm sure people will be able to find spots that are not so crowded. It's lovely!
